The LORD Almighty has declared in my hearing: "Surely the great houses will become desolate, the fine mansions left without occupants.

But I have heard the LORD of Heaven's Armies swear a solemn oath: "Many houses will stand deserted; even beautiful mansions will be empty.

The LORD of hosts has sworn in my hearing: “Surely many houses shall be desolate, large and beautiful houses, without inhabitant.

In my ears the LORD of hosts has sworn, "Surely, many houses shall become desolate, Even great and fine ones, without occupants.

I heard the LORD of Hosts say: Indeed, many houses will become desolate, grand and lovely ones without inhabitants.

The LORD of the Heavenly Armies has declared this so I could hear it: "Surely many houses will become desolate, great and beautiful houses, without occupants.

The LORD who commands armies told me this: "Many houses will certainly become desolate, large, impressive houses will have no one living in them.

With my own ears I heard the LORD of Armies say, "Many houses will become empty. Large, beautiful houses will be without people to live in them.
