But the grapevine said to them, 'I am not going to stop producing my wine, which makes gods and men so happy, just to sway above the other trees!'

But the grapevine responded, 'Should I stop producing my wine, which makes gods and humans happy, in order to rule the trees?'

And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheers God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
